The script, inspired by Henri David's Launchpad Pro95, incorporates various functions of Ableton Push such as the step sequencer and scale mode onto the Launchpad Pro, and consequently, this app.
The Plus version enhances the user experience with additional colors, 16 extra function buttons, and 16 customizable knobs. Moreover, the Apple Watch extension grants access to a subset of Buttons' features - including control over 3x3 clip launchers, 3 scene launchers, and 4 arrow keys for effortless clip navigation. It also provides visibility of some step sequencing buttons, ideal for dynamic live performances.
